The Brazilarte Festival is a celebration of our communities devotion to the art of Capoeira, art, music and Brazilian folklore. During the weekend of festivities we’ll officially welcome new students into the Brazilarte family with the Batizado ritual, honour the dedication of our existing students with Troca de Corda graduation and celebration the very best of Capoeira from invited guests from all over the world.
There will be workshops, music, drumming, dance, talks, community food, party, festival show and so much more.
This annual festival is a spectacle for the whole family.

BY Car
Southend on Sea is easily accessible by car. Although during the summer is a tourist destination and surrounding roads get very busy. If you decide to travel by car the earlier you leave the better to miss the visiting traffic.
The two main roads into Southend on Sea are A13 and A127.
There is plenty of paid parking available in the centre of Southend on Sea and free parking within a 15 minute walk from the city centre.
