CAPOEIRA is an art which incorporates martial art kicks and strikes with movements and acrobatics creating the ultimate all over body workout! ranging from the floor to standing body weight movements.

A regular class will include: warm up, solo technical training, working in pairs, playing CAPOEIRA (putting it all together) and stretching.

How do you get started?

BrazilArte offers an 8 WEEK BEGINNERS COURSE to get you introduced and started in CAPOEIRA. We run classes in Whitechapel – LONDON, Chelmsford – ESSEX and Southend – ESSEX. ↬ By Train: Southend is accessible on 2 lines, Southend Victoria (www.nationalrail.co.uk) and Southend Central (www.c2c-online.co.uk). 50 minutes from London Liverpool Street or London Fenchurch Street.

↬ By Car: We are just 30 minutes from Junction 29 on M25, A127 or Junction 30 A13. Both come direct into Southend.

BrazilArte was so happy and privileged to be invited to be part of Chandan and Anshica’s special day! Its was a real blend of cultures. We managed to unofficially close the road for the most fabulous and colourful street party where the cultural traditions met. Mestre Biscuim, during a limbo tradition, unannounced came flying over the top with his amazing acrobatics, then BrazilArte proudly led the groom’s car into the hotel for the next part of the event.

The second part of the event involved us leading the wedding party down the aisle to the most ornate stage I have ever seen! The scene was beautifully set and as our drums faded out they continued with the rest of the ceremony.

Thanks to VIVIDA for capturing the moment in such a beautiful way.
